Colombia Gesha Spirits Bella Alejandria
Regular price $45.00
Grown by Wilder Lazo at his Bella Alejandria farm, this very unique gesha undergoes a double fermentation process, immersed in anaerobic mucilage for 140 hours, resulting in vibrant floral and citric notes. Enhanced by an 18-day sun exposure infused with tangerine peel for added zest, followed by a 25-day stabilization period, each bean culminates in a meticulously crafted flavour profile before the grand milling finale.
Wilder grew up on a coffee farm but was a veterinarian by trade. In 2017, inspired by his family's coffee legacy, he immersed himself in the world of coffee while assisting his father in the San Adolfo mountains. Fueled by a deep passion and driven by his innate talent, Wilder abandoned his career as a veterinarian and pursued specialty coffee with an insatiable appetite for learning. His journey led him to establish a robust varietal program, leveraging his genetic expertise and continuous pursuit of knowledge.
Today, his farm boasts over a dozen distinct coffee varieties sourced from diverse origins—an extraordinary coffee journey unfolding through dedication and heritage.
Tasting: Sweet aromatic, floral, citric acid, green tea, lemongrass, orange
