The Fruit Co-Fermented process
The process begins with a 48-hour anaerobic pre-fermentation, developing a foundation of complex flavours. After de-pulping, the beans are fermented for five days with dried and fresh watermelon, adding a refreshing sweetness and subtle hint of citrus. Sun-drying on patios and mechanical drying in silos are followed by a crucial 30-day stabilisation period. This process allows the complex flavours to meld, resulting in a balanced and distinctive coffee.
Tasting: A burst of Watermelon with Mint, Candy, Lemon, Bubblegum, Raspberry.

It has a subtle watermelon flavor, which is pretty interesting. The taste isn’t too strong—just a hint of watermelon and mint. Despite the name Candy Blast, I actually appreciate that it’s not overly sweet. But if you’re expecting an intense burst of candy flavor, this might not be for you—or maybe it’s just me brewing it wrong.
Gifted this to a friend and he's been nuts about it since
It's seriously good. Kudos to the farmer Brayan Alvear for his innovation. This one is exceptionally popular :)
Brewed the Watermelon Candy Blast beans using an Aeropress — absolutely phenomenal. Bright, juicy, and bursting with flavour. Easily one of the most unique and enjoyable brews I've had in a while. Well done!
