Prepare your palate for a coffee that embodies both community effort and exceptional complexity. Our Rwanda Inzovu Espresso Roast is a dazzling, perfectly balanced cup. This distinctive flavour profile is the brilliant result of a collaborative effort by smallholder farmers in the Kigali region, whose coffee trees thrive in Rwanda’s nutrient-rich volcanic soil. This single origin espresso supports sustainable farming practices, ensuring every sip is a taste of Rwanda's unique coffee heritage.
Filter Flavour Profile: Green Apple, Kiwi & Floral Elegance
Roasted specifically to a Light profile, the Inzovu is a "bright and sparkling" cup. It offers a high-definition clarity that evolves beautifully as the coffee cools:
- Palate: Crisp Green Apple and tropical Kiwifruit notes.
- Aromatics: Elegant and fresh Floral aromatics that dominate the bloom.
- Finish: A refined, lingering Cocoa sweetness that provides a smooth foundation.
- Character: A tea-like, clean body that is perfect for those who value clarity and complex fruit acids in their morning brew.
The Origin: High-Altitude Volcanic Terroir
Grown between 1,400 and 1,900 MASL, the Inzovu blend represents the finest beans from the Kigali hills.
- Fully Washed Process: This method highlights the "sparkling" acidity and floral aromatics inherent in the Bourbon and Typica varietals.
- Volcanic Soil: The nutrient-dense earth of the Kigali region provides the essential minerals required to develop the coffee's deep, layered sweetness.
- Smallholder Impact: By choosing Inzovu, you are directly supporting a network of independent Rwandan farmers committed to sustainable, specialty-grade production.

Filter Brew Guide: Unlocking the Volcanic Brightness
To capture the green apple clarity and floral aromatics of this specialty filter coffee, we recommend the following pour-over recipe. As always, feel free to tweak the parameters to your specific equipment and taste:
- Dose: 19g (Medium Grind)
- Yield: 290ml (92°C–94°C Water)
- Time: 2:45 minutes
Roaster’s Tip: Use a clean paper filter and a steady, slow pour. If the kiwifruit notes feel a bit too muted, try increasing your water temperature slightly to help extract those vibrant organic acids.
