Brew Guide: The Indulgence Standard
To capture the intricate aromatics of these fermented lots, we recommend the following starting parameters. While we provide these parameters as a starting point, every home coffee setup is different. Factors like pump pressure, water temperature, and grinder calibration vary, so we encourage you to use these purely as a guide and tweak them to suit your personal preference.
Filter Parameters
- Method: V60, Chemex, or Aeropress.
- Roaster’s Tip: Use a slightly coarser grind for co-fermented beans to maintain the clarity of the vibrant fruit notes.
Espresso Parameters
- Brew Ratio: 1:2.
- Run Time: 27 – 32 seconds.
- Roaster's Tip: If the shot tastes too acidic, try extending the run time slightly. If it's too bitter, coarsen the grind to hit the faster end of the window.
