Experience the expressive fruit character of Ethiopia’s highlands with our Ethiopia Sidamo Mewa Single Origin Espresso Coffee — a naturally processed lot grown in the elevated terrain of West Arsi, one of Ethiopia’s most celebrated coffee regions.

This coffee is produced by approximately 650 smallholder farmers in Mewa, Nensebo, where rich sandy loam soils, cool temperatures and traditional low‑input farming practices create ideal conditions for exceptional quality. Grown at altitudes above 2,000 MASL, the cherries develop concentrated sweetness and vibrant fruit complexity.

Hand‑picked and delivered to the Mewa Washing Station, the cherries undergo careful sorting before being dried naturally on African raised beds for 10–20 days. This meticulous process enhances the coffee’s clarity, structure and fruit intensity — hallmarks of Ethiopia’s finest natural coffees.

Roasted for espresso in West Melbourne, Mewa delivers a bright yet balanced profile with ripe strawberry, juicy plum and sweet stone fruit, supported by a smooth, round body and lingering sweetness. It shines both as a clean, expressive black espresso and as a fruit‑forward milk coffee.
