This coffee has been grown at a relatively low altitude, given its' deep flavour profile and complexity. Grown in the beating heart of the Mantiqueira Mountains, this coffee offers a smooth and delicious tasting profile with a soft caramel and chocolate body, with mixed berry notes and a red wine acidity.
The Rio Verde Valley Growers Co-op was established in 1961, with the intention of collaborating to produce high grade, genuine specialty coffee in Brazil. Since then, the production of coffee in Minas Gerais has been refined and perfected to become widely regarded as one of the best growing regions in Brazil (and all of South America).
Each cup of Mantiqueira promises to be as delicious as the last, with high level bean consistency, due to meticulous quality control and high-grade farming and growing practices.
Perfectly paired with milk, but equally as enjoyable as a black coffee, this brew is a guaranteed coffee connoisseur fuel and a must have in your specialty coffee collection.
Tasting: Soft caramel and chocolate body, with mixed berry notes and a red wine acidity.
