This coffee hails from Daye Bensa, established in 2006 by two brothers, Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo who were working as coffee suppliers from the Sidamo region. Sidamo, Ethiopia, a place known for its rich vegetation, has ample rainfall, optimal temperatures, and fertile soil. This micro lot grows on the slopes of the Shanta Golba Mountain with an elevation of 1860 – 2160 masl.

Acquired from nearby farmers, red cherries are processed using a variety of methods.  Damo station is equipped with eco-friendly de-pulping and pressure sorting machinery dedicated for washed coffee, African beds, and fermentation tanks for anaerobic processing. They also have compost and a dedicated eco-friendly sanitation station for washed wastage and natural treatment.  The station has around 100 workers and provides the main income for around 380 nearby farmers during coffee harvesting seasons, paying 20-30% more than the average price for coffee producers.

To protect the cherries from rain and high exposure to direct sunlight and heat, fermentation tanks are built in a shade, also serving to provide a comfortable environment for workers.

This micro-lot has been processed anaerobically. 

Boasting an intense rum and raisin and tropical fruits aroma, discover kiwifruit, mandarin, and high winey notes.

The cup presents a delicate acidity, very juicy and sweet, with medium to full body and incredibly balanced.
